It was in 2009 that the Publication Division of Loyola College was officially started.  Loyola Publications had been given Publishers Identifier Number 908722 under category 5 where 10 titles can be given ISBNs.  It was given in the name of Fr. Sabu P. Thomas S.J., Bursar/Treasurer, Loyola College of Social Sciences on 27th April 2009 by Raja Rammohun Roy National Agency for ISBN, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher education, Government of India through their letter Ref: F.No.908722/2009-ISBN dated 27th April, 2009. 

So far Loyola Publications brought out three publications which are the result of joint research studies undertaken by Loyola College, Trivandrum and Sophia University, Japan.  This joint research studies were possible due to a MOU signed between Loyola College and Dr. John Joseph Puthenkalam S.J., Professor, Graduate Division of Global Environment Studies, Economic Development and Global Environment Research, Sophia University, Japan.
